SLAPP describes a weaponised legal action which intimidates, exhausts or silences regular people advocating in the public interest.
SLAPP (Strategic Litigation Against Public Participation) suits let the powerful avoid scrutiny so corruption, environmental harm, and abuse stay hidden.
